Black Torn Paper

New Release

Although faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen, there is a way to understand when God is moving you closer to the place where he promised that he would establish you. There is a season for everything and a pattern that follows Biblical principles that help us understand not just the Who and What of God, but they also reveal the When of God. God's timing is rested in His sovereignty and if we be still while we are believing, we will uncover that good or bad all things work together for the benefit of those who are in Christ Jesus.

Phylisha shares her personal journey and how she discovered that, much like in the natural, we must endure some pain, but if we push through, the pain will propel us right into our promise!

Autographed Book with original Asia doll limited collection

After the loss of her daughter, Phylisha created several different activities to ensure that the legacy of her daughter would live on. On what would have been her 16th birthday, Phylisha released a children's book series called, Asia Speaks! The Asia Speaks! series was developed as a tool to assist young learners and their educators establish strong, healthy connections with social and emotional conversations that aid with positive self-image and acceptance. Each book in the series includes simple lesson plans and activities that help the educators explore and reinforce the important topics within the text. In addition, the books have been illustrated with minimal eye traffic so that learners with special needs (i.e. autism, dysgraphia, etc.) can enjoy the stories as well.

Bio

Phylisha Gold is a novelist, artist, poet, playwright, and screenwriter, but above all else, a lover of words. She has been an educator for over two decades with experience spanning higher education to elementary, so it reasons that her audience would span those areas as well. Regardless of the audience age or subject matter, she focuses her art in one direction: to provide a path for others to find healing, wholeness, and purpose.

Her current and future projects are: Brown Eyes (novel and feature film), Asia Speaks! Children's book series, Kioni Khlue teen mystery series, N'yah to Castonia, and Water Runs Dry.

Phylisha has a distinct way of taking heavy subjects and making them easy to carry while exposing her audiences to new options. Her passion for people spills over to her non-fiction writing in her weekly blog SALTtea and podcast of the same name.
